Little Rock, AR (February 24, 2005) - The American Case Management Association (ACMA) Recognition and Awards Committee and Landacorp, a SHPS company, announce the establishment of the "Innovation in Case Management Service Award".

ACMA will honor a Case Management professional who exemplifies leadership in their practice through the development and implementation of innovative and creative improvements in Case Management service, regardless of setting.

The award will be presented at the Annual ACMA Meeting. This year's meeting will be held in Chicago on April 24-27, 2005.

All ACMA members in good standing are encouraged to apply. Nominations will be accepted from ACMA chapters, the leadership in a nominee's organization or the member may submit their own application.

An essay must be submitted which demonstrates the idea or program that enhanced the delivery of quality healthcare in the candidate's healthcare system and environment. Additional information can be found on the ACMA website: www.acmaweb.org.

A $1000 ACMA gift certificate applicable for any ACMA National affiliated educational conferences, publications, National Case Management Week products and/or ACMA arranged and approved airfare expense to the National Conference arranged by the ACMA National office. The gift certificate will be valid for one year from issuance.

Applications are available through the ACMA website and will be accepted until March 25, 2005 5:00 PM CST. Application may be submitted electronically to theacma@acmaweb.org or by mail with one electronic copy and one hard copy required.
