SHPS captures 10 healthcare communication awards in 2007 National Health Information Awards program

Louisville, Ky. (November 29, 2007) SHPS, a leading provider of health advocacy and health benefits solutions, received 10 awards for its healthcare communications in the 2007 National Health Information Awards program. Organized by the Health Information Resource Center (HIRC), a national clearinghouse for consumer health programs and materials, this awards program recognizes the nations best consumer health information.
SHPS won a gold award for a client-specific, co-branded communications program. It also won silver awards for CareWise for Older Adults: Self-Care for Lifelong Health (3rd edition), educational booklets on chronic conditions and an educational poster on influenza. SHPS was awarded bronze for its CareWise Guide: Self-Care From Head To Toe (6th edition) and Volume 13, Issue 1 of its CareWise News quarterly newsletter. In addition, SHPS received four merit awards.
